  Return Policy


To make a return, or exchange; you must call us for a Return Goods Authorization number (RGA#) either by calling our Customer Service at 646-707-1038 or filling out the RGA FORM The returns department will process your request (it can take two weeks). Once processed, the returns department will send you instructions via email how to return the item(s). Please note:
    • Certain brands are not returnable.
    • All merchandise is subject to a 40% restocking fee.
    • Custom or special order products (including custom finishes) are not returnable.

The following conditions must be satisfied for a return or exchange:

    •  All return requests must be made within 5 days of receiving the product.
    •  All item(s) must be returned in the original packaging as shipped to you. Once installed or opened from the original packaging, an item cannot be returned.
    •  The customer is responsible for all return freight charges on merchandise.
    •  All return instructions must be followed through in a timely manner (within 7 days), or there will be a loss in credit for the item(s).
    •  All merchandise must be returned to the location specified in the return instructions email.
    •  All return shipments must be fully insured and traceable. If an item arrives damaged, it is the customer's responsibility to file a freight claim with the carrier for reimbursement. Designing Depot cannot issue a credit and the return will be closed.

If the above conditions are not met, you will not receive any credit for the return.
